Open Shift View.
Go to **View settings.**
Check/uncheck the option “Highlight overperformance” and set the threshold for the visualization:
- It must be at least 100%.
- The default value is set to 105%.
Click “Save”.
Overspeed or overperformance means that production on workstation exceeds its set ideal cycle time. Overspeed can indicate that targets are set too low in Settings or that device input configuration needs adjustment. Correct targets are foundational — a misconfigured ideal cycle time silently distorts performance data across every module.
The visualization of overperformance gives quick feedback that speed settings need adjusting, so incorrect setup doesn’t lead to incorrect OEE results. As this is essential and would give the operators instant feedback that speed settings are incorrect, the visualization is enabled for all users by default.
This is a user-based setting, so every user account can set the preference as needed.
Open Shift View.
Go to **View settings.**
Check/uncheck the option “Highlight overperformance” and set the threshold for the visualization:
Click “Save”.
If good production is generally indicated by green in Shift View, then overperformance is indicated with highlighted green - meaning that signals that had production speed faster than the ideal, are marked with highlighted green.
