Once speed loss reasons have been entered into the system and connected to specific stations, operators can select these reasons when they comment speed loss (yellow areas) in Shift View.

How to add and manage speed loss reasons?

1. Go to Settings and open "Speed loss reasons"

   

2. Select the group you want to add a new speed loss reason to. Or create a new group (click on "+GROUP") and define:

   • Group name: Define a name for the group of reasons.

   • Colour: Choose a colour for the group, the colours are used similarly to stop reasons in Reports.

   • Global group: This option is available only in multi-factory setup. Please find more information here.

     • Factory: In multi-factory setup - define the factories for this group. The list of factories depends on the access permissions you have and which factories you have marked active while creating a new group.

   • Translations: Add translations if necessary.

     

3. Add speed loss reasons by clicking on "+ Speed loss" button and filling the short form:

   • Name: Enter a name for the speed loss reason.
   • Group: Select the group where this speed loss reason belongs to.
   • Stations: Select the stations this speed loss reason can be used on.
   • Require location from operators: If there are locations defined, then selecting one for this speed loss reason is required.
   • Require extra note from operators: If the speed loss reason should always have an extra note, this function can be used to request additional notes from operators.
   • Translations: Add translations if necessary.

   

4. Click "Save".

How to edit/delete speed loss groups and reasons?

Please note that deleting a reason or a whole group from Settings does not remove the reason/group from Shift View and Reports history. It just can not be used from that moment on.

Groups:

• Go to group view and click on the editing icon for the group

  

• Make the edits or click on “Delete” to delete group.

• Confirm the changes/deleting.

Reasons:

• Find the reason from list view or under the speed loss group in group view.
• To open the reason, click on the row or on the arrow icon at the end of the row.
• Make the edits or click on “Delete” to delete group.
• Confirm the changes/deleting.
