Often when there are more than one operator working a shift on a station, one of the operators is considered the shift leader or the lead operator. And it is necessary to identify these shift leaders to make sure production managers can follow up later on or to compare leaders to find points of possible improvement.

Once this is set up from the Settings side, the option to set an operator as the shift leader will appear in the Operators modal in Shift View.

How to set an operator as a possible shift leader?

  1. Go to Settings → Operators

  2. Add a new operator or select an existing one that you want to set up as a possible shift leader.

  3. Enable the “Allow as shift leader” from the toggle (it is disabled by default and turns green when enabled):

  4. Click “Save” to confirm.
